Technically Autonomous
Technically Autonomous is a resource site for tech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. The aim is to provide both inspirational and practical content teaching readers how to leverage technology to grow their businesses.
Technically Autonomous is Beyond Light Creations’ media subsidiary, and we use it as an outlet to educate entrepreneurs on how to use technology to scale their businesses, launch new revenue streams, attract customers, and more.
We needed to create a site that provides a variety of content formats such as blog posts, courses, videos, webinars, and more. The core feature of the website is the membership component where subscribers can gain access to exclusive content and benefits.
Premium Membership
MemberPress gave us the ability to create and manage a membership website. Subscribers are able to purchase new memberships and access premium content.
Courses
We have both free and premium courses hosted with Thinkific. New Premium Members are auto-enrolled in Thinkific, and have access to Premium courses.
Newsletter
The newsletter is hosted by ConvertKit, and integrates easily into the website. Blog readers are able to signup to the newsletter at the bottom of all posts and the sidebar widget.
Email Marketing
ConverKit allowed use to create manage email campaigns, segment our subscriber list, and automate which subscribers get certain messages based on their status and actions.
API Communication
Zapier allowed us to connect various applications and transfer data seamlessly between them. We created several “Zaps” to listen for event triggers, and perform a “Actions” as a response.
Search Engine Optimization
We use various SEO tools to perform both onsite and technical SEO strategies. We optimize images for faster page load, update content quality, and and gain audience insight.
Site Monitoring
We want Technically Autonomous to maintain high-availability and our hosting plan monitors the site for any outages, performs frequent backups, and alerts us of any failures.
